Del Taco, the eighth wonder of the world.

Today, I ate at the two ends of the Taco spectrum Taco Bell and Del Taco. I had to run my wife to the airport during an early lunch break and as I went back to work I wanted to grab something to eat. I looked for a Del Taco on the GPS, but alas, there were none close by. So, I opted for Taco Bell instead. Now, one thing unique about Taco Bell, is that they NEVER make the same Taco twice. I don’t know what it is, but they just can’t repeat good taco’s or burritos. Every now and then, you win the food preparer lottery and score a winner. But most of the time, you get this poorly constructed mass of burritoie STUFF inside a tortilla that’s mostly at one end. Needless to say, I was disappointed when I ate my lunch. I’ve never had a Chicken Burito Supreme with so much green stuff, and so little chicken in a long time.

So for Dinner, I hit out for one of our favorite Del Taco’s. I got a whole meal for just $2.07. Two Chicken Soft Taco’s… AND, on Tuesday’s you can get 3, that’s right THREE regular taco’s for just $1.09. It’s amazing. Again needless to say, I was not bummed when I bit into the chicken soft taco, just like always the chicken is superb and the sauce just lights up your taste buds. Yum… That’s good.
